Proudly Zimbabwean: Meet Our Zimbabwe Team

Our Team of Zimbabwe Experts

At Safari Destinations, Zimbabwe is more than a destination we sell. It is home.

Our Zimbabwe team is proudly local, with roots that stretch from Bulawayo to Masvingo, from Victoria Falls to the Eastern Highlands. With satellite offices in Victoria Falls and Bulawayo and decades of combined experience in travel, hospitality and tourism, this team lives and breathes the country they promote. When you plan a Zimbabwe safari with us, you are working with people who grew up here, built their careers here and continue to shape the future of tourism here.

Deep Roots. Real Experience. Genuine Passion.

Nimisha – From Bulawayo to the Bush

Born, raised and living in Bulawayo, Nimisha’s career journey has evolved alongside her love for Zimbabwe. She began in real estate, building a strong foundation in client service and sales before transitioning into travel. Over more than 12 years in the broader travel industry, she has worked her way up to General Manager level, managing corporate travel and flight operations before following her heart into safaris.

For the past five years, she has immersed herself in the experiential side of travel working with our friends at Imvelo Safaris, and for the last 10 months she has been a key part of Safari Destinations.

Her favourite experience? Walking safaris. Slowing down. Listening. Noticing the small details of the bush. Connecting with nature in a way that feels grounding and deeply personal.

Tracey – The Spirit of the Zambezi

Born and bred in Masvingo, Tracey’s appreciation for Zimbabwe’s landscapes and wildlife began early. After completing her degree in Tourism Management, she gained experience across different roles before transitioning fully into hospitality between 2020 and 2024 while being part of the management team at one of our favourites, Batonka Guest House in Vic Falls. She first joined Safari Destinations in 2018, returned in 2024 with broader experience and renewed perspective, and brings both professional depth and heartfelt passion to her role.

For Tracey, nothing captures Zimbabwe like the Zambezi River. The sunsets, the wildlife along the banks, the quiet power of the water. That magic is what she loves sharing with travellers from around the world.

Sharon – Experience, Heart, and Eastern Highlands Magic

Based in Bulawayo, Sharon brings 24 years of administrative experience and 10 years in hospitality, having worked in Victoria Falls, Hwange, and Bulawayo. She joined Safari Destinations in June 2025, strengthening the team with her depth of operational knowledge.

Her favourite region? The Eastern Highlands. Mysterious. Magical. Always calling her back.

Bridget – Victoria Falls at Heart

A proud Ndebele from Bulawayo, Bridget’s journey took her through Harare and Masvingo before tourism truly captured her heart during her attachment in Victoria Falls in 2013.

That was the turning point. Victoria Falls became home, and it remains her base today. She has been with us since 2018, and has grown with the company ever since.

Her favourite thing about Zimbabwe? The sunsets. Whether on a Zambezi cruise or deep in the bush, Zimbabwe’s skies never disappoint.

Living in Victoria Falls allows her to experience daily the warmth and hospitality that make Zimbabwe so special. She has her ears on the ground and her eyes on new developments and products in and around Vic Falls..

Claire – Leading with Vision and Wilderness Passion

For Claire this year marks ten years with us, including five years leading the Zimbabwe team.

Her connection to Zimbabwe runs deep. One of her most memorable journeys was a self drive adventure from Harare through the Eastern Highlands, Great Zimbabwe, and Gonarezhou, ending in Bulawayo. Experiencing the country by road allowed her to connect with both the landscapes and the people in a way that shaped her vision for promoting the destination.

Mana Pools remains her most magical place. The remoteness. The wilderness. The chance to explore on foot and slow down enough to truly see.

Her passion for Zimbabwe’s wild, untouched spaces continues to fuel the team’s commitment to growing and promoting this remarkable country.

Why This Matters

We believe in authenticity, being on the ground plays a large role of our commitment to the destinations we offer. Our team understands the nuances. The seasons. The hidden gems. The subtle differences between camps. That depth of local knowledge, combined with years of professional expertise in selling and promoting Zimbabwe, means your safari is crafted with authenticity, care, and real insight.

Zimbabwe is a gem. And we are proud to share it with the world.
